Africa Engineers the Future:

Building on 10 years of Africa-UK engineering collaboration

2022 marks 10 years since the publication of ‘Engineers for Africa', a report that provided the blueprint for the Academy on how it could best support engineering for development on the African continent. To celebrate this milestone, the Academy held a special event on 24 February, giving audience members the opportunity to learn more about the insights gained from this report and hear directly from some of the Academy’s programme beneficiaries. To watch the event as it unfolded, click on the ‘Watch event' tab.

You can also access a complementary online exhibition that showcases up to 100 individuals and institutions that have been supported by the Academy, including entrepreneurs, researchers, universities and professional engineering bodies, representing 30 countries and numerous sectors from across the continent. This exhibition will be available for viewing until Sunday 6 March 2022. Click on the ‘Exhibition’ tab to learn more.
